Two teams travelled very early on a Sunday morning to Gwynedd; a good mix of endurance and competitiveness!  There were only two teams on three double clears....... The CHS teams!  Well done all.  The pig and duck fillers caught quite a few riders and ponies out.  It was a close run result.  The league team of Camilla, Bea, Tamzin and Alice came first and the Foxes  with Archie, Renee, Tamara and Camilla came second.  Bea also came third individually and Camilla with Grace came fifth.

The weather held out for the East Cheshire Winter League competition on Sunday 5th October, the League Team of Bea Hammond, Tamzin McBennett, Camilla Broster and Alice Ford won their class, with Alice coming a close second individually – only 1.4 seconds behind first!  Bea was also placed, she came a close 4th only 1.4 seconds behind her…….. think it’s going to be a great winter league season!  The Cheshire Hunt South Foxes were also placed, they came 6th.  The Foxes were Jessica Doyle, Archie Barlow, Lavinia Johnson and Renee Hassall.  Well done everyone!

Dengie Win For Toby and Cleo

Our CHS team made the trip to Anglesey for the first Winter League competition of the season on Saturday.  Well done to Toby McCain and Cleo who took the first prize in the Dengie qualifier.  His CHS  team mates Kate Samuel and Maddy and Lexie Topping on Westie were  2nd and 4th  respectively both with double clears – so all three have qualified for  the Dengie area final next March- good result!

There were only 3 in the CHS Class 3 team but the team won with all three placed individually. Kate Samuel with Maddy flew round to come second, Toby and Cleo took a close third and Jessica Smith on her brother's horse, took 5th place with the fastest four fault round.

Class two saw our team of Lucy Ford on sister Amy’s horse, Lexie Topping, Lucy Exley and Alice Okel jump 7 clears out of 8 rounds.  There was confusion with the results by the organisers and we still await the final outcome – but it was either a win or second place.  Lucy (F) and Lexie were place individually as well.
