Shooting and running practice in Great Barrow, usually takes place on a Friday evening.  These practices are very low key and friendly and cater for all levels including complete beginners.

For swimming practice, we recommend you join a local swimming club.

For further details follow the links on the main pony club website – disciplines-tetrathlon.

In competitions, classes start from age 4 and go right up to Senior Level, and there are usually branch, area and championship competitions to look forward to each year.

Full Tetrathlons are held during the summer months.

Triathlons (ie without the riding) are held during the winter usually run by Area 5 tetrathlon committee  at Mold Leisure Centre.    There are lots of classes to choose from including beginners.  Its all very low key and a good day out.  For those parents who are encouraging their offspring to have a go, there are also classes for the mums and Dads, aptly named ‘slightly creased’ classes for the mums  and ’wrinkly’ classes for the Dads, so you can have a go with them!!!!
