Amazing Results For Bea Taylor!!

After receiving the exciting news that I had been selected to represent Area 5 at the Royal Windsor Horse Show, we were finally heading down to London. My brother, Rufus, was also competing at Windsor, in the NSEA Show Jumping with Lola, so it was going to be a busy weekend.  It took 6 ½ hrs to get there and we’d been told all the lorries were being towed on and off Windsor Park due to torrential rain.... Autumn is upon us already and we have a busy season ahead of us.

We had our first Winter League of the season yesterday and is was well attended by our branch with 34 entries.  We managed to do extremely well in each of the classes.  CHS foxes team 60cm Woody Lyonette, Sophie Mulcaster, Chloe Roberts and Ruby Johnson came 1st place with Woody gaining 1st place individual.  The non winter league team came 2nd place.
The non WL team 70 cm did very well winning with Jude Larkin (individual 1st), Sophie Mulcaster, Tom Farrington and Fleur Perry.  The 80 cm team did really well and the 90 cm team won with Honor Freebody taking 1st place individual and Max Austin 2nd place. 

The next Winter League is hosted by East Cheshire and is held at Somerford Park on Sunday 6th October.  Entries will open soon on Entry Master.

For those of you who are not quite ready for Winter League, we have our Stepping Stones showjumping series suitable for lead rein to 70cm starting Sunday 3rd November entries will open on Entry Master soon.

We are hoping to host a Winter Series dressage and some mini dressage competitions too so look out for these dates coming up.

Suzanne Lunt has kindly offered to host a Halloween ride at her farm followed by hot dogs in the barn, this will be on Entry Master soon and is great fun.

We are going to host a Christmas party for the younger members, Catherine Rayner has kindly offered to organise this, so if anyone would like to help please contact her.  She is also going to host more badge rallies over the winter too so look out for those coming soon.

Winter triathlons are coming up, anyone wishing to have a go this is great fun.  Sarah Johnson coordinates the swimming training and Richard and Sally Mulcaster coordinate the shooting practice.  Dates for competitions are on the pony club area 5 website.  Emma Taylor, Mark Taylor and Georgia Butler usually sort out teams, if anyone needs any advice these people are happy to help.
